🌱 Sprouts Farmers Market Is Coming to Braselton, Georgia!

Braselton is getting a Sprouts Farmers Market, and construction is already underway! 🛒🎉

If you’ve driven down Highway 211 recently and wondered what all the construction is at the former Publix location, we finally have confirmation.

Braselton Planning & Development has issued a building permit identifying Sprouts Farmers Market as the project at 2095 Highway 211 NW, Unit 4A, Braselton, GA.

And yes, I drove over to see it for myself! 🚧😂

Where Will the New Braselton Sprouts Be Located?

The new Sprouts will be located in the Vineyards at Chateau Elan shopping center at 2095 Highway 211 NW.

For my Braselton locals, that’s:

• 📍 Behind Lovin Florist
• 📍 In the former Publix shopping center
• 📍 Adjacent to the newer Publix shopping center on Highway 211, where you’ll now find Lowe’s Home Improvement, First Watch and more
• 📍 Just minutes from Chateau Elan Winery & Resort

This is an especially convenient location for residents of Chateau Elan, Del Webb Chateau Elan, Hoschton and the rapidly growing Highway 211 corridor.

How Big Will the Braselton Sprouts Be?

The new Sprouts is expected to be approximately 23,000 square feet.

That’s interesting because it makes the Braselton store almost the same size as the newer Buford Sprouts, which is also approximately 23,000 square feet.

For comparison:

Sprouts has increasingly favored a smaller-format store, so Braselton appears to fit nicely into that newer model.

What Will Sprouts Sell?

If you’ve never shopped at Sprouts, think of it as a specialty grocery store with an emphasis on fresh produce, natural and organic foods, bulk foods, vitamins and supplements, specialty products, meat and seafood, deli items and prepared foods.

One of the things shoppers seem to love most is the treasure-hunt aspect. There are plenty of specialty foods and Sprouts-brand products you may not find at a conventional supermarket.

And judging from the comments on my announcement, Braselton already has some VERY strong opinions about Sprouts. 😂🌱

What Is Happening to the Rest of the Old Publix?

Here’s where the story gets even more interesting.

Sprouts isn’t expected to occupy the entire former Publix.

The approximately 45,000-square-foot former grocery space is being divided, with Sprouts taking approximately 23,000 square feet.

And what’s coming next door?

Yes, there’s another major retailer involved, but we’re saving that one for Part 2!

When Will Sprouts Braselton Open?

That’s the big question!

Construction is clearly underway, but the building permit itself does not provide an opening date. Until Sprouts officially announces one, I don’t want to give you a date that could change.

I’ll be watching the construction and announcements closely and will update this page as soon as we have confirmed opening information.

Why This Matters for Braselton

Anyone who has lived around Braselton for a while knows just how dramatically the Highway 211 corridor has changed.

New shopping, restaurants, services and residential development continue to transform this part of Northeast Georgia. For homeowners, prospective buyers and people considering relocating to Braselton, these additions are part of the bigger story of what’s happening in our community.

And since I live in Chateau Elan myself, you can bet I’ll be watching this one closely. 😂
