Legacy Golf Properties has acquired the Jack Nicklaus Signature course in Dahlonega, taking ownership on July 20, 2026. This is Legacy's first acquisition outside Texas and was announced August 19.
Hawks Ridge Golf Club has been sold to Escalante Golf, its first ownership change in more than 25 years. Escalante has engaged architect Tripp Davis to develop a master plan for future improvements.
Chattahoochee Golf Club is closed for a major renovation through November 1, 2026. The driving range and related facilities remain open. Improvements include extensive irrigation, turf, bunker and playability work.
Lanier Islands has substantially expanded its golf offering. The resort opened The Six, a six-hole illuminated par-3 course, along with the new Mike Williams Golf Center and renovated clubhouse.
The Patch reopened April 15 following a 16-month transformation featuring the redesigned 18-hole course by Tom Fazio and Beau Welling plus The Loop, a new nine-hole short course by Tiger Woods and TGR Design.
Jones Creek reopened after years of closure under Bond Golf Global leadership, with renovated turf, additional tee boxes, clubhouse improvements and public access.
Currently closed for a major Beau Welling redesign, expected to welcome members in late fall 2026.
Troon acquired Atlanta-based Bobby Jones Links on August 11. The company will continue operating under its existing brand.
